Not to mention my stomach didn’t feel well about 15 minutes after we finished eating, as did my husband’s briefly, but admittedly I can’t say for sure the food directly caused it. For an 100+$ meal, to only enjoy the fruit, potatoes, mushrooms, and cheesecake was very disappointing, especially with the reviews. The pudding was not good, I could barely get through one bite. The only thing I liked was the strawberry cheesecake, and I’m big on desserts and sugar. I didn’t try the banana pudding only because it was a mess on the tray so it didn’t look very appetizing. For dessert I tried a sample of the chocolate pudding, carrot cake, peach cobbler, apple cobbler, and strawberry cheesecake. I didn’t even try the pork rib I had on my plate because the sauce from it that got on my mushrooms was too spicy for me ( to be honest I find a lot of things spicy). The mash potatoes and mushrooms were good, the broiled sirloin was chewy and much of it didn’t have much flavor. I tried the boiled sirloin, mashed potatoes, zucchini, and sautéed mushrooms. The broiled sirloin he didn’t finish because it was “tasteless.” He did say the fruit (cantaloupe and grapes) were very good and the best part of the 33$ buffet. The kielbasa he peeled off the outer lining because it tasted bad, but didn’t finish the kielbasa anyway. He said the rolls were good, but on all of them at least one side was hard. My teenager ( a big meat and rolls fan) tried the prime rib, rolls, kielbasa, beets, fruit, and boiled sirloin. My husband got crab legs, which he described as “okay, crab is crab”. The servers were polite, our only issue with them was trying to find our waitress to get the check since we had to leave for an event. Curley's Cafe (Little River, SC) Wow if you want a great breakfast this is the place to go hands down may not look like much of a place but it's a. Collards tasted a little off but still good. Big Mike's Soul Food (Myrtle Beach, SC) Food great as usual. It was clean and decorated nicely, and it was cool that the seating floors were named by deck. The best pancake house in myrtle beach.love it. It looked crowded, but the inside felt pretty spacious. Also, what are you going to do with all the pictures that you do not sell? It is a waste.Īnyways, hope this review helps other to know what to expect eating at Giant Crab in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We went at 4pm on a Friday night since there is about a 3$ discount. But $25 after have been charged $47 per dinner is to me the biggest rip off. Offer them digitally as well for $5 and people will take those too. I understand you want to make a buck or two, but sell them for $5 and you’ll see how many more people will buy them. Prints that size go for less than a dollar at Walgreens. You just ate and you pay, say $150, then you go to get your free wallet size photo and they, of course, offer a bigger version of your photo, that is great, but they charge $25 for a 4x7 print in a paper frame!!!!!! That to me was scandalous. This is the biggest scam of the whole evening. They take a picture of your party at the entrance, and they say FREE wallet size photo with your dinner. We thought it was very pricey and not to include sweet tea or soda was absurd. Dinner was $47 with beverages not included. Price is not known until you are seated. It was edible, but needed some sweet rolls to ‘suck up’ or balance the extra season. Make sure to let Hibachi cooks know if you do not want too much seasoning, our Hibachi food was extra seasoned. The food wasn’t spectacular, regular buffet food with the only difference of a nice Hibachi station, and decent crab legs, we liked that. We stopped at Giant Crab located in North Myrtle Beach, SC, thinking it was a type of place we do not have at home. We wanted a fun and family oriented place to eat.
